The terms on which Blackheath Stamps Ltd sells to you. Please read them alongside our Returns and Shipping policies.
About us
This website is operated by Blackheath Stamps Ltd, Company Registration No. 13622584, registered in England & Wales, of Landford, New Road, Welney, Norfolk, PE14 9RA. We are specialist dealers in Great Britain, Commonwealth and World philately and accredited members of the PTS, IPDA and GBPS.
One-of-a-kind stock
Almost every item we list is a single, individually photographed piece, one of one. We also offer our stock through other channels, including eBay. Because the same item can be available in more than one place at once, on rare occasions an item may sell elsewhere at the same time as your order. If this happens we will cancel your order and refund you in full, immediately.
Prices & payment
All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is added to our prices. Payment is taken at checkout via our secure providers; we accept major debit and credit cards, Shopify Payments, PayPal, bank transfer and payment by phone.
Orders & contract
Your order is an offer to buy. A binding contract is formed when we accept your order and dispatch the item. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order, for example where an item is no longer available (see “One-of-a-kind stock” above), where a pricing error has occurred, or where we are unable to ship to your destination.
Descriptions & images
Each item is described honestly and accurately, and the photographs show the exact item you will receive. Condition is graded by usage only, in line with our grading approach. Screen colours may vary slightly from the item in hand.
Returns
Our full Returns & Refunds policy gives you 90 days to return any item, and forms part of these terms.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. Subject to that, our liability in connection with any item is limited to the price paid for it. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales and subject to the jurisdiction of its courts.
